Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the lush green mountains of Vagamon, Falcon Crest is a serene gem that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding tea plantations. As a wildlife conservationist and safari guide, I found this location to be not just a retreat, but an invigorating escape from urban life. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive staff, particularly Sibin, whose dedication to ensuring a comfortable experience truly stood out. Each premium room comes with a private balcony, providing uninterrupted views that captivated my friends and me, reminding us of the majestic beauty of our own landscapes in Kenya. The cuisine was delightfully varied, and although meals need to be ordered in advance, the effort was well worth it-each dish showcased local flavors that delighted our taste buds. One note for future visitors is to be mindful of the rocky access road, but rest assured that the peaceful environment and unparalleled views make any journey worthwhile. For families, couples, and nature lovers alike, Falcon Crest stands as a testament to the kind of authentic experiences we seek in our travels-an oasis of calm that I would wholeheartedly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in God's Own Country.
